Anne-Marie was also fired from The Voice after Olly Murs revealed he was “devastated” to be sacked

According to reports, Anne-Marie was dropped from “The Voice”.

After 39-year-old Olly Murs announced he had been sacked as a coach on the ITV rotating-chair talent show, it was reported that the 32-year-old pop star, who joined the show in 2021, will also not return to the judging panel alongside will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones next year.

A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Anne-Marie has loved being part of the show but producers are keen to breathe new life into the series.

“ITV wants to make sure the show attracts teenagers, so they’re always on the lookout for the hottest people in the music world.”

A spokesperson for the broadcaster told OK!: “The Voice UK returns to ITV1 and ITVX on Saturday 4 November at 8.25pm with a brand new season featuring coaches will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Anne-Marie and Olly Murs. Details of the 2024 season will be confirmed in due course.”

“Up” singer Olly is “devastated” that he is leaving after six years.

He told The Sun: “I’m devastated. I got the call last week saying I wasn’t going to be on the show anymore and to be honest it was a bit of a shock. I wasn’t really expecting it.”

“But I don’t want to sit here, like other artists might do, and sugarcoat everything and say, ‘It was my decision.’ I don’t want to do that.

“I don’t want to rip off my fans or the people who watch the show and say, ‘Oh, it was a mutual decision to leave – I have a lot going on next year and I can’t do it anymore.’

“No. I sincerely accept their decision and I’m sure they will find someone great. But will I miss it? Yes.

“Did I want to go? No. Will I still watch the show? Of course, but the thought that it could have been me will hurt…”

He was dropped despite leading two singers to victory on the show.

Olly added: “I still have a great relationship with ITV and I don’t think it was their decision as such – it was probably more (production company) Talpa’s.

“They told my team they were looking for new people. I don’t know if anyone knows yet, but I’m really going to miss Tom, especially because I was very close to him.

“I’m going to miss drinking champagne with him after the show and chatting about life stories, but hopefully if he’s reading this, he might get in touch.

“I loved ‘The Voice’ and will always remember my first day on set – how nervous I was sitting in that big, red, scary chair.

“But I felt like a fish in water and I really enjoyed it. I’m really going to miss it.

“I loved the people behind the scenes, the coaches, everyone involved, and I’m really sorry not to do it again, but you have to move on, right?

“I’ve had setbacks in my career, but I’m going to get through it. Something exciting is going to happen.”

“But this year has been such a positive year for me that I always thought something bad could happen… and I think that’s
