Make your voice heard for the best jumping athlete of the week

St. Mary Catholic Central fans dominated the Monroe County Region Athlete of the Week voting during the spring sports season.

SMCC participants won six times in the 11 weeks, including two victories by softball player Abby Leachy. Her teammate Olivia Piepsney received the most votes in a week with 498 votes.

Two players from the New Boston Huron girls soccer team emerged as winners.

Monroe Soccer, Milan Golf and Airport Softball each recorded a win.

Olivia Piepsney, SMCC Softball: Week 37, 498 votes.

Adela Illes, SMCC Athletics: Week 38, 229 votes.

Brennan Runyon, SMCC Baseball: Week 39, 462 votes.

Max Jenness, Golf in Milan: Week 40, 251 votes.

Sarah Busen, SMCC Softball: Week 42, 225 votes.

RaeAnn Drummond, Airport Softball: Week 43, 73 votes.
