Brazilian singer Ayres Sasaki dies after being electrocuted on stage during a live performance

Brazilian singer Ayres Sasaki, 35, died in an incident during a live performance in Salinopolis, Para. The accident occurred at the Solar Hotel when Sasaki was electrocuted on stage, Brazilian news site Istoe Gente reported.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when Sasaki hugged a rain-soaked fan during his performance. This contact reportedly caused a nearby wire to discharge, resulting in a fatal electric shock. Sasaki collapsed almost immediately after the incident.

The Para Civil Police have launched an investigation into the accident. Authorities are currently collecting witness statements and have requested an expert analysis of the accident scene.

In response to the incident, the Solar Hotel released a statement on its official Instagram account, saying: “We are fully committed to providing support to his family and taking the necessary measures. We reiterate our commitment to fully cooperate with the relevant authorities in properly investigating the events.” The hotel also expressed its condolences to Sasaki’s family and friends.

News of Sasaki’s sudden death has shocked fans, with many expressing their grief on social media, particularly Instagram, and sharing memories of the artist. Sasaki’s final Instagram post has become a makeshift memorial, with his followers leaving messages of disbelief and sadness.
