Netflix’s One Piece Season 2 gets a filming update from the producer

Producer Becky Clements has finally released a brand new update on the current status of the highly anticipated Netflix series. One piece Season 2. Production of the next part of the live-action film is currently underway in South Africa.




In an interview with Deadline, Clements confirmed that the cast and crew of One piece will continue filming season 2 until the end of the year. For this reason, she also hinted that it might take a while before the hit series could find its way back to Netflix, as the second season is expected to contain more visual effects compared to the first part.This is a very VFX-heavy year, so it will take a while. We are outside for a long time” said Clements. “We are filming until December.” As the Straw Hat crew enters the infamous Grand Line, more Devil Fruit users like Luffy will appear in Season 2, promising a season full of superpowered action sequences.

In the next episode, Luffy’s crew becomes even stronger with the addition of important new additions Tony Chopper and Princess Vivi.


So far, the streamer has already revealed some of the new cast members that will be joining Season 2. They include David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Callum Kerr as Captain Smoker, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton, Clive Russell as Crocus, Brendan Murray as Brogy, and Werner Coetser as Dorry. Their cast confirmed that Season 2 will indeed somehow adapt several popular storylines from the manga into an 8-episode season, such as Loguetown, Laboon Arc, Whisky Peak Arc, Little Garden Arc, and Drum Island Arc.
