Warren mourns firefighter Kosmowski – Macomb Daily

The Warren Fire Department announced the unexpected death of firefighter Christopher Kosmowski on Friday.

In a statement from the fire department, Kosmowski was described as a dedicated firefighter who served the Warren
He served the community with passion and dedication and his impact on his fellow firefighters and the community will never be forgotten.

His colleagues remember him as a hard-working and respected member of the department who was always willing to do more than was necessary to help others.

In addition to his service as a firefighter, Kosmowski was a loving husband and father who leaves behind his wife and children.

A statement from the Warren Fire Department said: “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. The Warren Fire Department is grateful for the years of service and dedication Firefighter Kosmowski gave to the fire department and the community. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.”

In a press release, city officials said no further information would be provided.

Warren Professional Firefighters Local 1383 issued the following statement: “It is with deep sadness that Warren Professional Firefighters, Local 1383, announce the passing of active duty Firefighter/Paramedic Christopher Kosmowski. Words cannot express our shared grief and sorrow at the loss of our brother. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. Thank you to all who have already sent condolences and offered assistance.”

Funeral details will be announced at a later date.
