Attentive fans discover “test player” registered with another club on Man City’s squad list for pre-season in the USA
EAGLE-EYE fans have discovered a trial player at Manchester City, although he was registered with another club.
The player was included in the Premier League champions’ squad for their pre-season tour of the USA.
The squad consists of 27 players, including Scott Carson, Kalvin Phillips, Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish.
However, one member of the group is actually registered with the French and City-owned club Troyes.
20-year-old Amar Fatah spent last season on loan at Belgian club Lommel SK, which is also part of the City group.
Now Man City fans are excited to see if they will see the Swede play for Pep Guardiola’s team during the trip across the Atlantic.
One posted: “We need to see Amar Fatah play a few minutes.”
A second commented: “Will he play?”
A third wrote: “How is this possible?”
A fourth said: “A man like Amar Fatah.”

Another added: “Fateh will be great, I’m sure.”
The Athletic has issued a statement for Fateh’s inclusion in Guardiola’s squad.
The 20-year-old is reportedly staying at the club after receiving treatment for an injury sustained last season.
It is claimed that he will be doing the tour with the Citizens to support his ongoing recovery.
During the tour, Man City will play high-profile friendlies against Celtic, AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea.
