City of Coconut Creek launches Creek Club 2024-25 for middle school students – Coconut Creek Talk

The City of Coconut Creek has announced the 2024-25 Creek Club, an after-school recreation program designed specifically for middle school students.

The goal of the Creek Club is to provide participants with structured activities to ensure a balanced mix of fun and education. In addition, a small snack and drink are provided every day.

The Creek Club is open to students in grades 6-8 and will be open Monday through Friday throughout the 2024-25 school year.

The sessions begin on Monday, August 12and is held on school days only. The program runs from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with hours adjusted on days when Broward County Schools close early.

Important: The Creek Club is not available when Broward County schools are closed to students. Each 20-school day session costs $70 for Coconut Creek residents and $90 for non-residents.

Attendees joining mid-session may be prorated. Existing attendees paying after a session has begun will be subject to a $5 late fee, making the cost $75 for residents and $95 for non-residents. Payments are accepted by credit card only.

The program will be held at the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. Registration will continue until the program reaches its capacity of 30 participants per session. Interested participants can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Recreation Complex or Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.
