Kourtney Kardashian leaves her famous family behind and flies to NYC with her little son Rocky

Kourtney Kardashian-Barker swapped her lavish $9 million Calabasas mansion for New York City this weekend, jetting to the East Coast to cheer on her husband Travis Barker as he hosted his running club in the city.

Kourtney, 45, met up with a friend for a baby playdate shortly after landing in NYC and shared a sweet photo of her eight-month-old son Rocky playing with a friend on her Instagram Story.

The eldest of the Kardashian sisters appeared to travel without her famous sisters and did not share any photos of her children Mason (14), Penelope (12) and Reign (9), whose children she co-parents with her ex-partner Scott Disick, during the trip.

Kourtney explained in a confessional the reason for her closeness to her baby and said: The Kardashians: “I’m a big believer in attachment parenting. I’m not really separating from him.” and added: “I feel like I dedicate my time exclusively to caring for my baby and building a bond with him.

Kourtney hasn’t left her side since the birth of her baby

“She followed a similar philosophy with Penelope and Reign, as she said Fashion: “I did that with my last two children too. We didn’t leave the house for the first 40 days. After that, you’re really well connected and I think that’s great.”

Kourtney cheers on her husband at the Run Travis Run

Kourtney has been her husband’s biggest cheerleader since he started his running club, Run Travis Run, earlier this year.

The Blink-182 drummer said he developed a love of running after his plane crash in 2008. The crash left him with burns to 70 percent of his body and doctors told him he may never be able to walk or play drums again.

“I was never athletic and never played sports, but I immediately felt the urge to prove everyone wrong, including myself,” Travis said.

“It started with short walks and then it turned into daily short runs. Every time I ran I felt this sense of calm and a dopamine rush. I’ve kept this up for years now and always start my day with it. When I’m on tour I even run 3 miles every day before my shows.

“The running community is huge and it really inspired me to start Run Travis Run to bring likeminded people together. I want to motivate people to get outside and run or walk for a few hours, but also to make healthy choices and develop healthy habits.”
