First trailer for Henry Cavill’s new action film

Henry Cavill goes crazy in the first trailer for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, a new action film directed by Guy Ritchie.

The new film, which also stars “Reacher” star Alan Ritchson, is about a secret organization during World War II. The synopsis makes a dig at the fact that it was the birth of “modern black operations.”

The release date is currently planned for April.

We knew the trailer was coming today because Cavill announced it yesterday.

“Although my Argylle press tour is coming to an end, we have more excitement to come!” he teased on Instagram. “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare trailer out tomorrow!”

“Look out for more bearded and mustache-twirling antics here. #UngentlemanlyWarfare #TheMinistryOfUngentlemanlyWarfare,” he added, captioning the post with a few photos of Cavill in character from the film.

In addition to Cavill, the film’s star-studded cast includes Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer and Cary Elwes; Ritchie co-wrote the screenplay with Arash Amel, Eric Johnson and Paul Tamasy.

The upcoming film comes amid a busy schedule for Ritchie, as the filmmaker has already released Aladdin, The Gentlemen, Wrath of Man, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre and The Covenant within the last five years.

The director recently announced a new project for Apple TV+: John Krasinski and Natalie Portman will star in Fountain of Youth. The pair will play “estranged siblings who team up for a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth.”

“You must use your knowledge of history to follow clues to an epic adventure that will change your life – and possibly lead to immortality,” the logline concludes.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is scheduled for release on April 19th.
