Houthi-run Al-Masirah: Israeli attacks hit oil refinery in Hodeidah

According to the Houthi-run Yemeni news channel Al-Masirah, Israeli airstrikes reportedly targeted oil refineries in Hodeidah, Yemen.

The report followed explosions reportedly heard in the Yemeni coastal city.

Hodeida is controlled by the Houthis.

Al-Masirah later released footage purporting to show the aftermath of the strikes at the refinery.

According to the Houthi-run media, the Ministry of Health reported that several people were killed or injured in the alleged attacks.

Initial reports from Al-Masirah television said the attacks were carried out by US and British forces before blaming Israel.

The explosions follow the drone attack in Tel Aviv attributed to the Houthis, in which one person was killed and ten injured.

On Friday, Israeli officials told Ynet that there would be “a response to the Houthis’ shooting down of the Iranian drone” and that they did not rule out the possibility of retaliatory strikes on Yemeni soil, saying such actions were “on the table.”
