Woman who went to school with Taylor Swift claims people ‘hated her’

A woman has made the bold claim that she went to the same high school as Taylor Swift and was not exactly popular.

In a viral TikTok that takes a swipe at Swifties, Jessica McLane said the two grew up in the same town and went to the same school.

She admitted that she didn’t really know much about the star, even though the two attended Hendersonville High School in Tennessee.

“In 2006, I’m a freshman in high school. Taylor is, I think, a sophomore. ‘Teardrops on my Guitar’ had just come out that summer, I think. Obviously she was very tall, and that was the year she left school and was homeschooled,” she said.

Jessica then said that her classmates “hated” Swift when her music career began.

In another clip, she hinted that “jealousy definitely plays a role.”

It didn’t take long for fans to rush to Swift’s defense. One wrote: “Even if Taylor’s father was financially privileged enough to be able to advance her career, no amount of money in the world can buy talent and perseverance.”

Another added: “The best revenge on your haters and naysayers is… success. And she showed you that in abundance.”

Meanwhile, a third wrote: “Because she got to live the life every girl dreams of and couldn’t live, and she did it in a badass way.”

Others criticized Jessica for not providing proof that the two attended the same school, so she followed up and provided evidence from the 2006-2007 and 2009-2010 yearbooks.
