“Scrubs” star Sarah Chalke has landed her next film role in Alan Ritchson’s new action comedy “Playdate.”

Directed by Luke Greenfield from a screenplay by Neil Goldman, the film centers on a stay-at-home dad who gets into trouble at a playdate (via Deadline).

“The film follows Brian (Kevin James), a down-on-his-luck man who has just lost his job and unexpectedly becomes a stay-at-home dad to his 10-year-old son,” says the film’s official logline.
