Thousands of Disneyland employees in Southern California have voted to strike.

Four unions representing more than 14,000 workers at Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney and Disney-owned hotels had authorized the strike, citing alleged unfair labor practices during collective bargaining.

“This vote shows that cast members have had enough!” Aaron Zarate, a member of the workers’ bargaining committee, said in a statement.

The vote does not mean that a strike will take place immediately; negotiations are still ongoing.

If a strike does occur, it would be the first at Disneyland in over 40 years.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
