Los Angeles, which entered the year as the general favorite, is +320 to win outright at FanDuel Sportsbook when the teams begin the second half of the 2024 season on Friday.
While they are still in the lead, a disappointing first half has the Dodgers hot on their heels.
The Phillies, the best in MLB at 62-34, now have the second-best odds for the World Series in baseball at +400.
The Yankees, who have gotten off to a strong start themselves, have the best odds (+550) among the American League teams, just ahead of the Orioles (+750), who enter Friday’s games with a one-game lead over the Bronx Bombers in the AL East.
The Braves (+900) complete a clear group of teams that have separated themselves from the rest of the league.
