Man found stabbed near South Bay intersection

Detectives are investigating after a man was found stabbed to death near a busy intersection in South Bay on Tuesday.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, officers responded to reports of a stabbing near 111th Street and Larch Avenue in the Lennox neighborhood at approximately 12:24 p.m.


When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim lying on the ground with stab wounds.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No suspects were seen in the area, the LASD said.

A citizen’s video showed that a large portion of the street was cordoned off while officers investigated the scene.

The fatal incident remains under investigation.
