Join the Hack Club Coders on a cross-country journey with VIA Rail

VANCOUVER, BC, July 19, 2024 /CNW/ – VIA Rail and Hack Club invite members of the media to witness the launch of a once-in-a-lifetime journey that combines innovation and collaboration. Join us as 50 of the world’s most talented high school programmers, hackers and makers set off on VIA Rail’s legendary transcontinental train. In this unique experience, members of the Hack Club (a non-profit network dedicated to empowering young people to use technology to create a more sustainable future) will travel from Vancouver To Toronto to Montréal for a 4-day “mobile hackathon”. You will witness Canada’s pristine landscapes and participate in projects and workshops that focus on sustainability, environmental protection and tackling the climate challenges of today and tomorrow.

To celebrate this remarkable collaboration and the adventure ahead, VIA Rail is hosting a special event in Vancouverand we would be delighted if media representatives would join us, report on the story and let their audiences share in this exciting journey.
