We are all feeling the effects of the cost of living crisis and while I never had a problem spending more than a three-figure sum on a “cult” foundation in the past, I now hesitate longer and consider the alternatives.

One such alternative brand that has built a huge cult following with its incredible products at affordable prices is MCoBeauty.

The brand, owned by Shelley Sullivan, has a reputation for creating “perfect replicas” of high-quality luxury products that customers immediately buy and try.

The newest MCoBeauty product on my desk is the brand’s new Cheek and Lip Stain 2-in-1 Liquid Tint ($16), which shoppers are already calling a “perfect copy” of Benefit’s Benetint ($42).

Like the famous Benefit product found in bathroom cabinets around the world, the new $16 MCoBeauty product is a water-based tint that provides a hint of rosy color whether you apply it to your cheeks or lips.

It is long-lasting and smudge-proof and promises a natural-looking finish, as if you had just returned from a long walk in the countryside.

When you use a few dabs, the formula starts with a barely noticeable flush.

But it builds up quickly and easily by applying multiple layers – giving you the perfect pink cheeks of your dreams.

Having had it with me for the past two weeks and tried it out on numerous days, I can attest that there are many things to love about MCoBeauty’s Cheek and Lip Stain (and this is coming from an OG fan of Benetint).

I love the sponge applicator that makes it quick and easy to apply as much or as little product as you want.

I also like that it blends easily but sets quickly whether you use your fingers or a brush.

I’ve worn it both on “makeup days” at the office and on weekends at home when I might not put on a full face of makeup, but a layer of sunscreen, a tinted moisturizer, and this cheek and lip pencil.

The whole thing comes in a stylish little bottle that won’t look out of place in your handbag or on your dressing table.

Of course, if cheek and lipstick aren’t for you, MCoBeauty also has a wide range of other new products that you might like.

From the Peptide Lip Treatment ($18), which is almost identical to Hailey Bieber’s viral Rhode product, to the Summer Daze Lip Tinted Oils ($18), there’s something for everyone.

Since the Lip Tinted Oils came out, I’ve had different shades on my desk at work and in my bag and I find myself constantly reaching for them.
