The deadly violence in the subway on Friday evening has caused uncertainty among passengers.

“It’s crazy. This is just crazy. It’s getting really bad out here,” said Isaac Santiago of Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

“Every time we visit, there’s always something going on. This has to stop,” said the 22-year-old, who opted for an Uber as Line A trains bypassed the station on Friday evening.

Hospital employee Ayan Malakar’s evening commute from Fort Lee, New Jersey, to downtown Manhattan was also disrupted.

“I have never heard of anyone being stabbed here,” said 38-year-old Malakar.

“It’s shocking – here’s someone suddenly getting stabbed. It’s definitely scary – something to be concerned about.”
