Singer Kehlani responds to body shaming on social media
Kehlani defends herself against accusations that she went under the knife to get her perfect abs.
After the singer of “Good Life”, who uses the pronouns she/her, showed off her abs in a Image series In an Instagram post earlier this week, people on X (formerly Twitter) debated whether the artist’s muscular abs were real.
Kehlani’s abs are the fakest I’ve ever seen. Her upper body is not defined and she even said she didn’t have a trainer. She just watched YouTube videos of a trainer. Like bffr yall

I agree, Kehlani looks great, but when you work out, it’s impossible for just one part of your body to be extremely defined and toned – especially for women
there is a picture she posted where her abs look much better but whatever, everyone here is doing everything they can to look their best

Kehlani has always had abs though, I don’t know why everyone in the comments is talking shit and saying it’s AI???

The people who assume surgery aren’t true Kehlani fans and haven’t seen Lani’s abs since Cloud 19. Lani has always had incredible abs with very little effort, so I know these chiseled works of art are the result of hard work 🔥

You’re all frauds if you think Kehlani has worked out, she’s always had abs

This debate also took place on Instagram, where people commented on Kehlani’s abs in a post that entertainment website The Neighborhood Talk shared on its Instagram account highlighting the singer’s latest pictures.
Kehlani rejected In a comment on the post he wrote: ““Ab Etching is absolutely insane considering I’ve been in the gym literally every day for the last TWO YEARS and for the last few months wearing a fully weighted vest.”
They also spoke claims the operation in an Instagram story post.
“I always wanted to train so hard that all the comments in a blog post consisted of accusations of surgery,” Kehlani wrote while sharing The Neighborhood Talk’s Instagram post.
“I spoke out YEARS ago about having breast implant illness and will never have another damn plastic surgery in my life and never will again. Ever. I worked for this,” they added.
In a recent Instagram Story post, Kehlani made it clear that she is not putting down people who undergo surgery, writing, “Do whatever you want with your body as long as it’s safe.”
The singer recently teased her upcoming single “After Hours” in a TikTok post. She hasn’t released any new solo music since her 2022 album “Blue Water Road.”
