Daia regrets this terrible “Love Island USA” moment

It’s not easy being a Casa Amor girl. You come in later Love Island USA and have the difficult task of flirting with men who could already be committed couples in the reality dating series. However, there is a small chance that one of the men will take you into the villa and stay with you. Daia McGhee had her eyes on Cordell Beckham.

He was connected with Serena Page since the premiere. She told him that she wanted to be friends with him someday, then she changed her mind. Daia and some viewers were shocked to see Serena missing Kordell while he was away. Collider spoke to Daia about Serena’s feelings for Kordell, dealing with assumptions about her, and which couples she thinks are real.

Daia says Serena was worried that Love Island USA fans didn’t like her

Daia entered Casa Amor and thought like a Love Island USA Spectators that Serena Kordell was ahead. She said Collider her reaction to how much the perception of Serena has changed after Casa Amor. “I think when I went in myself, I felt like I shared the opinion of the audience because I saw it the way you see it, and I think most people thought they were some kind of friendship couple.,” she explained.

“And Serena wasn’t really sure if she liked him or not. And then when I went to Casa, I hadn’t seen the last episode before Casa,” she added. “I guess they had a really deep conversation. And, you know, a couple of things had happened that were kind of like, has strengthened their bond. I didn’t realize that when we went into the villa and were in Casa. We didn’t see the episodes as we went along. So we didn’t see Serena crying and being upset and not really interacting with the guys.”

She revealed when her opinion of Serena and Kordell changed. “After movie night, I think I started to realize that people would really like Serena, and I told her that. That was actually a conversation that we both had,” Daia said later. “Because she was really worried if people didn’t like her and all that stuff.” Daia told her that the clip of Serena crying over Kordell is what people want to see to know if she likes Kordell.

Daia said Kordell talked a little about his last night with Serena before Casa Amor. “He did say they had a pretty good conversation, a deep conversation, but he never told me in detail what it was about and I never really asked him,” she explained. Daia later said she understood why Serena was so slow to go to bed and they “havedifferent styles of love language.” She wasn’t surprised when, after four days, Kordell said that because of this difference, her relationship with him was “right up there” compared to his relationship with Serena.

Kordell brought Daia back, hoping to explore his connection with her and Serena. Serena was not on board with his plan. She pushed a plate of breakfast he had prepared for her towards him after seeing that he had also made a plate for Daia. “In that moment, there was nothing better than friendship and like I just didn’t want to pay attention to it,” she revealed. Daia said when Serena made a comment about Kordell’s “dry sex” in Casa, she realized what happened to the plate. It was so embarrassing that the Casa girls left the makeup room. The original female islanders and the Casa girls who made it to the villa kept their distance from each other.

The clip of Daia lying on top of Kordell in bed made the rounds on social media before the episode, with fans concluding that they had sex. Serena watched the moment on a phone and called it “dry humping.” Kordell later contradicted her for using that term. Daia and Kordell were clothed and she moved her hips on top of him for a few seconds. Daia explained how she felt about the reaction to that moment.

“I think anyone who is really mad about this is clearly Team Serenasaid Daia. “I love Serena.” She says she still sees comments from people accusing her of having sex with Kordell. “I don’t know if they showed it, but the girls were like, ‘Oh, like he turned his head to the first girl that wet his p—.’ And I was like, ‘Girl, I didn’t even touch him,'” she said. Daia said her comment about Kordell not being small didn’t help her. “I only said that because we were cuddling in bed,” she explained. Kordell then immediately walked away. Daia said she wanted to kiss him in the morning and that was it.

Daia revealed that the other men found her cute but didn’t approach her during Casa Amor because of her connection with Kordell. The Casa girls also stayed away from Kordell for the same reason. Daia said they would talk for hours, which was not shown in the episodes. Their connection outside the villa wasn’t just physical. However, that connection didn’t last long inside the villa. Kordell worked hard to get back into Serena’s good graces and eventually asked Daia to chat with him to end things. However, Daia replied that she wanted to chat with him too. Fans thought she wanted to beat him to it so she wouldn’t get dumped.

“I understand how it looks,” she said, laughing. “It wasn’t that morning that I woke up and thought, ‘I don’t want to deal with this anymore,'” she said later.It was actually three days before when I started to feel, “Hey, I really don’t feel this situation.” Daia told the Casa girls instead of Kordell that he was disappointing her because he was busy with Serena. She said because there were so many conversations at the villa during those two days, she wasn’t allowed to “have that conversation with him.” Daia claimed that Kordell found out she was planning to break up and felt like he was turning his back on her.

“However, I regret how I acted” she said of that breakup talk. Daia said Serena was the strongest connection she had out of all the original islanders. She doesn’t regret anything from Casa Amor because she did things based on the information she had. The travel blogger said Kordell didn’t reveal that he had agreed to certain boundaries with Serena that he crossed in Casa until it was too late. Daia is out of the villa and can vote for which couple should win Season 6.

We asked her if Aaron Evans really cares about Kaylor Martin after their numerous arguments. “I think he does,” she replied. The blogger doesn’t know everything about their relationship, but said it seems like he does care after being around her. But which couple is the most genuine? “I really think Serena and Kordell really like each other,” she replied. “I think that’s very clear and everyone loves them. And then if I had to pick a second couple, I would say: Kendall (Washington) At Nicole (Jacky). I just really love her.” The finale of the sixth season of Love Island USA is Sunday, July 21st on Peacock.
