One of Morgan’s fans posted a video on TikTok showing the 31-year-old superstar singing his hit single “Last Night” at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

He wore a bright orange t-shirt and army green cargo pants.

The video showed sweat stains on his back and front, and a caption above the clip read, “Morgan Wallen beats the Florida heat in July.”

Morgan moved around the stage while singing, holding a microphone in one hand.

At one point he turned his back to the camera, revealing a large sweat stain on the back of his shirt and even more wetness on the back of his pants.

“The swamp ass is going crazy,” the fan mocked in his caption.

In the comments, fans commented on his soaking wet appearance.

“Not that moron,” commented one fan, thus shortening the term swamp ass.

Controversies surrounding Morgan Wallen

Morgan Wallen has experienced a meteoric rise in recent years, delighting fans with his lyrics. He has released several albums and won numerous awards. However, Morgan’s rise to fame has not been without some setbacks.

Here’s a look at the controversies surrounding Morgan Wallen:

  • Morgan Wallen was arrested on April 8, 2024, for allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of a bar in Nashville, Tennessee.
  • The country singer was suspended from his label after a video surfaced in which he used a racial slur.
  • In 2020, he was arrested for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after being thrown out of Kid Rock’s bar in Nashville.
  • That same year, he was kicked out of a musical guest appearance on Saturday Night Live for violating pandemic protocols and partying during lockdown.

However, some fans showed affection for Morgan.

“I feel his pain – signed a native and raised Floridian,” wrote one fan.

“Everyone in Florida has swass, but few admit it,” commented a second.

“The guys up there are putting on an amazing show and you want to make fun of them, you posers,” defended a third fan.

“His shirt is soaked from the neck down… this is probably mostly because he is sweating on his back… BECAUSE HE IS BASICALLY TRAINING IN FRONT OF ALL OF YOU… It takes a lot of stamina to sing and perform especially in the heat,” wrote another supporter.

“Just say anything. At the beginning he sat down and people were throwing water on the stage. Most likely he was sitting in the water,” noted a fifth fan.

Make a fall

Morgan has been having problems lately.

Earlier this month he suffered a serious fall during a performance in London.

The Whiskey Glasses singer performed in Hyde Park on July 5th.

He entered the stage wearing a baseball cap, a white shirt and matching pants.

Morgan was walking across the stage at the Great Oak when he suddenly tripped and nearly fell face first.

He managed to save himself by reaching out a hand to break his fall and then continued his performance as if nothing had happened.

Morgan sang 23 songs during the set, including “I Had Some Help,” which he sings with Post Malone.

He also played an encore of three songs, including “Thinkin’ Bout Me,” “Last Night,” and “The Way I Talk.”

The singer from Tennessee has risen to fame in recent years and has become one of the biggest names in country music.

He has released three studio albums, including One Thing at a Time in 2023, and won numerous awards.

COUNTRY CONTROVERSY

In addition to his accolades, Morgan has also been at the center of some pretty serious controversies.

In April, he was arrested and charged with three counts of serious crimes.

The country singer was at Chief’s Bar on Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee, when he allegedly threw a chair from the roof of the bar.

He was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment of the two police officers named below and endangering the public as well as disorderly conduct.

In 2021, he was suspended from his record label after recordings surfaced of him using a racial slur.

The video was filmed and recorded by a neighbor in Nashville after Morgan returned from a night out with friends.

He responded to the controversy in a statement.

“I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I would like to take back. There are no excuses for using that kind of language, ever,” he said at the time.

“I sincerely apologize for using that word. I promise to do better.”
