Atlanta star Tommie Lee arrested for assault in Miami Beach

The television star was arrested in the early hours of Monday, June 10, outside Club LIV in Miami.

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta Star Tommie Lee was charged with assault outside the popular club LIV in Miami, Florida on Monday, June 10, NBC 6, Local 10 and 7 News Miami reported.

According to an arrest log obtained by Local 10, Lee (née Atasha Jefferson) was arrested after 2 a.m. at the venue at 4441 Collins Ave. LIV.

The previous Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta The 39-year-old actress reportedly approached a man she said she had never met and tried to give him something. However, when he refused the offer, Jefferson allegedly became aggressive, punched him in the face, cursed at him and threatened to have him killed, according to Local 10.

After the altercation, the victim detained her until police arrived on the scene. Police then reviewed surveillance footage of the incident and confirmed the victim’s statement.

Jefferson was subsequently arrested for assault and taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without incident.

During her term of office at Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta In 2016, she admitted that she had been arrested nearly 30 times.

Before her arrest on Monday, Jefferson was charged in January 2019 with several counts, including aggravated assault, child abuse, aggravated stalking and school disruption, according to AJC.com. She was accused of shoving her child’s head into a metal locker and dragging her by her hair.

In October 2018, she was arrested for the first time and charged with aggravated assault and child abuse after an incident at her child’s middle school, according to TMZ. Hours after that arrest, she was arrested a second time after allegedly making contact with her daughter. She was arrested at her home and charged with aggravated stalking and obstructing an officer, WSB-TV Atlanta reported.
