Mid Michigan Hitmen win tournament title

TRI-CITY AREA – The Mid Michigan Hitmen 14U baseball team recently finished 4-0 and first in the Clio Tournament.

The team opened its successful tournament run with a 13-4 win over Michigan Mavericks on Saturday, July 6.

Later that day, they improved their record to 2-0 with a 15-5 win over Mid Michigan Lumbermen.

Mid Michigan Hitmen followed up with a 16-0 triumph over Michigan Mavericks 14U and a 3-2 win over Michigan Mavericks 14 on Sunday, July 7, to secure a top seed in the tournament.

Aiden Furneaux (Dryden), Colten Karbel (Almont), Brock Murphy (Almont), Alex Skierski (Almont), Colin Campbell (Almont), Landon Swain (Almont), Ian Myers (Almont), Marek Droullard (Yale), Wyatt Cross (Davison), Liam McDunnah (Davison), Bryce Wood (Armada) and Brady Lang (Davison) helped the team finish first.
