Travis Kelce endorses F1 crossover with Taylor Swift as Pierre Gasly and Charles Leclerc’s double date at Eras Tour goes viral

A crossover between Formula 1 and the world of pop music could be the start of something epic! When Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Alpine’s Pierre Gasly took their girlfriends to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Italy, fans went crazy for the young couple’s double date. Now Tay Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce has joined in on the fun with his version of Gasly and Leclerc’s night at the San Siro stadium in Milan. On Instagram, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared his approval of the two F1 stars attending his loved one’s show by commenting on Pierre’s post.

Thanks to his $210 million investment in Alpine Racing, Travis Kelce is now a famous name in F1. However, the 34-year-old is currently linked to Formula 1 drivers Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly via a “girlfriend connection.” As can be seen from Leclerc and Gasly’s recent Instagram posts, their girlfriends Alexandra Saint-Mleux and Kika Cerqueira are fans of Kelce’s partner Taylor Swift. So Alex and Kika turned on their Swiftie charms as they attended the Italian edition of the Eras Tour concerts, and even brought their boyfriends along, as both Charles and Pierre are currently enjoying a two-week break from their F1 duties ahead of the Hungarian GP.

Although Kelce didn’t make it to Milan for his girlfriend’s concert, he was definitely following it on social media. When his team rider Pierre Gasly shared a snapshot from the Eras Tour concert and Taylor Swift’s performance clip, Travis Kelce commented: “Yes indeed!!!“ and expressed his joy with fire emojis.

While Charles Leclerc didn’t post a picture from his outing with Alexandra in Milan, some fans took adorable photos of him making loving gestures to his girlfriend. However, the Ferrari racer posted a story update on his Instagram to thank the Swifties he met at Taylor’s Eras Tour concert, and guess why?

Taylor Swift’s fan base spans the globe, and her fans, the Swifties, also have their own customs. During the Eras Tour concert, fans often give each other homemade friendship bracelets as souvenirs. And when Charles Leclerc and his girlfriend Alexandra Saint-Mleux attended Taylor’s Italian concert, they also took part in this tradition. Significantly, the Ferrari racer received many friendship bracelets from the visiting fans, marking a time well spent for him.

When the evening was over, Leclerc headed home and shared an update on Instagram about the gifts he had received. He shared a picture of his arm with countless bracelets hanging from it and even wrote a message to the Swifties who had given him these gifts: “Swifties were very generous to us tonight. We had so much fun.“Although Leclerc and Gasly appear to have enjoyed their days away from the track following the British GP, it is now time to get back to business.

The Hungarian GP is just around the corner and the Ferrari driver will need to improve after his sixth place at Silverstone a few weeks ago. Pierre Gasly, on the other hand, will need to deliver a perfect performance as he retired without scoring any points in his last appearance for Alpine.
