The Ravinia Festival hosts the world premiere of The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration an original tribute concert to celebrate the “most awarded artist of all time” (Guinness World Records), Whitney HoustonThis dynamic production celebrates the singer’s amazing musical legacy with new, original orchestrations of her extensive catalog, performed by Chicago PhilharmonicFrom her legendary performance of “The Star Spangled Banner” at Super Bowl XXV to timeless hits like “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” “Higher Love,” “I Will Always Love You” and “How Will I Know” and many more, audiences will be immersed in the world of Whitney as the evening winds through her iconic songbook, film appearances, intimate home videos and rare, never-before-seen photos and footage.

This concert event will be the perfect setting to further showcase Whitney’s virtuosity as a world-class artist. And more importantly, her voice will continue to spread love and joy around the world.”

This official and authorized production is a collaboration between Pat Houston and the Estate of Whitney Houston, Park Avenue Artists and Primary Wave Music. For the first time, the performance will feature the original recordings of Houston’s voice.
