BTS Jimin is all set to debut his new song Who to fans around the world. The singer will also return to Jimmy Fallon’s show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, to perform the song. Jimmy makes fun of Jimin’s appearance on his show

Jimmy Fallon posted a short clip of himself and Jimin on Instagram. The video begins with Jimmy sitting in front of his laptop, drinking from a can that says “Dr. Jimin” and watching the teaser for Who. Behind him on the wall is a picture frame of Jimin.

Then the camera panned to his wall near him where various Chimmy and TinyTan Jimin items were kept. There was also an LED with the Who logo. As the lights flickered, “Who gets Changed to Jimin?” Jimmy shouted “Jimin” and ran to the window, only to see the singer walking away from the set of the music video.

Jimmy reveals more details

Jimmy shared the video with the caption, “GUESS WHO?! @bts.bighitofficials #Jimin is back for a special performance of Who on Monday July 22nd at 11:35/10:35c on @nbc! #JiminOnFallon #FallonTonight.” Jimin will perform Who on July 22. The song drops Friday.

BTS fans talk about Jimin’s performance

Reacting to the video, one BTS fan said, “The fact that BTS chose Jimmy Fallon as their only host for the promotion recently and trusted him (even in the military) despite him having guested on many American shows in the past shows that Fallon was the one who treated them with genuine respect. I love their friendship.” One comment read, “Jimin prepared so much for us before we went into the military.”

“This is the best surprise. Jimin and all the other members prepared a lot of things for us before they go to the military so that we don’t feel their absence… I’m crying,” one person wrote. “Jimin worked so hard before he went to the military,” one Instagram user said.

“Wow, I’m so excited about this! I can’t wait! This will be a gift for all of us. We love you Jimin and thank you so much for your support @jimmyfallon,” said another fan.

About Jimin’s album and the upcoming show

Currently, Jimin is serving in the South Korean military. Jimin will release his second solo album, titled Muse, on July 19. Muse will feature seven tracks, including the fan song Closer Than This, which will be released in December 2023. Jimin’s first album was FACE.

Fans will also see Jimin join BTS member Jungkook in their travel reality series titled Are You Sure. The series promises an intimate look at the duo’s travels to three different locations – New York, Jeju Island (South Korea) and Sapporo (Japan). It is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on August 8. The eight-part series will air new episodes every Thursday and will conclude on September 19.
