Silvio Berlusconi’s ex-partner Francesca Pascale marries singer and girlfriend Paola Turci amid global Pride celebrations

Francesca Pascale, the former partner of Silvio Berlusconi, has married her girlfriend, the singer, with whom she had been together for two years, amid the worldwide Pride celebrations.
They held a service on Saturday (02.07.22) after reports emerged that the 85-year-old former Italian prime minister had put his 1,140-square-meter villa, which he bought in 2015, up for sale.
Pascale, 36, and her wife, 57-year-old musician Paola Turci, who has released 17 studio albums, shared a photo of their ceremony on Instagram.
The newspaper Giornale di Merate reported that Berlusconi’s villa and the 40,000 square meter parkland surrounding it could be up for sale. A real estate agent told the newspaper: “I have arranged meetings. I don’t have exclusive rights to it, but I don’t think it has been sold yet.”
The former home of footballer and businessman Valentino Giambelli was bought by Berlusconi for €2.5 million (£2.2 million) as a gift for Pascale, whom he met in 2006 and began a relationship with a few years later after separating from his ex-wife.
The house has undergone a €29 million (£25 million) renovation, including a wine cellar, Brianza furniture and a room for the couple’s poodle.
Berlusconi and Pascale split at the height of the coronavirus lockdown in 2020 and his ex has reportedly been living with Turci since then.
Although the former prime minister and Pascale were not married, they agreed on a financial arrangement that allowed her to exit the relationship with a settlement of 20 million euros (17 million pounds) – the equivalent of 2 million euros (1.7 million pounds) for every year they were together.
She also received a monthly payment of €100,000 (£86,000) to maintain her lifestyle.
Berlusconi recently made his relationship with 32-year-old Forza Italia member Maria Fascia official.
