Jannik Sinner sends his love to his girlfriend Kalinskaya on social media – Tennis Tonic

Jannik Sinner showed his girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya his support in a heartwarming way and cheered her on for her success at the ecotrans Ladies Open 2024 in Berlin. Kalinskaya was delighted with the Italian’s thoughtful gesture.

Kalinskaya started her grass-court season in superb form, fighting back from a set down to beat Nao Hibino 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 in her opening match at the WTA 500 event in Berlin. The Russian later took to social media to share a highlight of her impressive performance and rejoice in her victory.

Sinner sent his love to his girlfriend in the comments and gushed about her triumph with heart eyes and fire emojis: “🔥😍.” Kalinskaya expressed her appreciation for the Italian’s support and responded with a kiss emoji: “😘.”

Sinner confirmed his relationship with Kalinskaya during his French Open outing, while stressing her desire to keep their relationship secret. “I am with Anna (Kalinskaya), yes, but we keep everything strictly confidential, you know my confidentiality… I will not say more,” Sinner said in a press conference after his first-round win.

Despite their desire for confidentiality, the pair have not shied away from speaking openly about their support of each other’s careers. Earlier this month, Kalinskaya expressed her pride in seeing the world No. 1 make it to the semifinals of the French Open, which drew a warm response from the Italian. They also showed their support for each other by cheering each other on from the stands during the major’s clay-court matches.

Like Kalinskaya, Sinner also began his grass-court season in Germany, winning the Terra Wortmann Open in Halle. The 22-year-old made a comeback after losing the first set and won 6-7(8), 6-3, 6-2 over Tallon Griekspoor in the first round.

Sinner, now ranked No. 1 in the world, achieved a record of 36-3 in 2024. The Italian is currently playing in Halle, where he defeated world number 27 Tallon Griekspoor 6-7.8th 6-3 6-2, world ranking 45 Fabian Marozsan 6-4 6-74 6-3 and world ranking 41 Jan-Lennard Struff 6-2 6-71 7-63.

In the semifinals, Jannik Sinner will face world number 42, Zhizhen Zhang. The two have never played against each other on the main tour before.

The Italian won three titles in 2024 at the Australian Open, in Rotterdam and Miami.

Sinner will next play at Wimbledon. He will begin the tournament in the main draw, which begins on July 1.

Currently ranked no.Ranked number 24 (career high), the Russian has an overall win-loss record of 23-11 in 2024. Anna is currently playing in Berlin, where she defeated world number 93 Nao Hibino 2-6 6-4 6-2 and world number 6 Marketa Vondrousova 5-5.

Anna Kalinskaya will face world number 3 Aryna Sabalenka in the quarterfinals at the Steffi Graf Stadium on Friday at 5 p.m. The head-to-head duel ended 3-1 for Sabalenka.

Kalinskaya was a finalist in Dubai (Dubai Duty Free Championships).

After Bad Homburg, she will also play in Wimbledon. The main draw starts on June 24th.
