Chris Soules arrives at the 10th Anniversary Party of “Dancing With The Stars” at Greystone Manor on April 21, 2015 in West Hollywood, California.

Being eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” was not easy for Chris Soules.

However, the former Bachelor star admitted that part of him is glad to be done with reality TV for a while.

“I just want to be a normal guy in Iowa again,” he told ABC News after the elimination. “I’m really looking forward to it.”

Shortly after the finale of “The Bachelor” aired a few months ago, the farmer from Arlington, Iowa, immediately began training for “DWTS.” A life on television, he said, is not what he wants.

“The spotlight is not something I asked for,” he said. “It was a great experience and more than I ever expected, but … there are a lot of benefits to going back and working (on the farm) again.”

And maybe wedding planning? Soules is currently engaged to Whitney Bischoff, whom he met on “The Bachelor.”
