Travis Kelce spotted at Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in Germany

The Kansas City Chiefs report to training camp on Sunday, so Tight End Travis Kelce has to spend as much time as possible with his girlfriend who is traveling around the world, Taylor Swift.

Swift, 34, continued the European leg of her Epoch Tour on Wednesday, July 17, with their first of three performances at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen. Kelce, 34, was there to watch.

Thread user @dylantslyrophore took a picture of Kelce watching from a box.

“Travis Kelce attends Night 1 of the Eras Tour in Gelsenkirchen, Germany 📲,” they captioned the photo.

Shortly thereafter, another, somewhat clearer image began to circulate: Kelce poking his head out of his private box. He was wearing a green Nike polo shirt and a black and white baseball cap.

Swift fans were quick to notice that this was the 13th. Eras show he participated in. It represents Swift’s favorite number and led to speculation that something special is happening in honor of this milestone.

Other fans were content to simply admire Kelce’s dedication.

“Anyone who acts like Travis Kelce and doesn’t put Taylor Swift first in their life and heart can just walk away,” wrote one fan about X. “13 shows, 5 continents, 1 year… and she’s working more jobs than all of her exes combined. He is truly the king of her heart and the one she always deserved.”

Kelce attended all three of Swift’s shows in London last month, even accompanying her onstage in a tuxedo and top hat as she changed for “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” During that change, he filled in for the dancer who usually carries Swift onstage, and did so with a big grin on his face.

A week later, Kelce surprised Swift at her final show in Ireland. As Swift stood on stage playing “August” from her 2020 album, folkloreher gaze wandered to the VIP tent where she saw Kelce. A fan video from the concert shows her mouth hanging open in a moment of surprise and joy.

Kelce was a mainstay at Swift’s concerts (“You know I have to go as the opening act,” he said Entertainment tonight in April), and Swift did the same for him during football season. According to Kelce, she attended her first Chiefs game on Sept. 24, about a month after they started dating.

She cheered him on at games all season, including Kansas City’s second consecutive Super Bowl victory in February.

The current stage of the Epoch Tour ends on August 20th and the Chiefs open the regular season a few weeks later at home against the Baltimore Ravens.
