SOUN share: Sports bar chain introduces voice technology from SoundHound AI

SoundHound AI (NASDAQ:SUN) stock is moving today after the artificial intelligence (AI) Company has added its audio services to a sports bar chain Restaurant La Casa.

At Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, customers can now place orders using AI audio. These features have been rolled out to all of the chain’s locations, and franchisees have the option to offer them in their stores as well.

This will extend SoundHound AI’s services across the United States, as Beef ‘O’ Brady’s has a presence in 20 states. The system is trained on the chain’s menu and can answer questions about it, including promotions and special offers.

James Hom, Chief Product Officer at SoundHound AI, said this about the collaboration.

“As consumer preferences shift toward convenience, optimizing the ordering process is critical for restaurants.” Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is pioneering the use of AI technology and improving customer interaction throughout the ordering process. We are excited to partner with them to advance the dynamic restaurant landscape and continue to expand our presence in the restaurant space.”

SOUN stock movement today

Despite the partnership with Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, SOUN shares fell 6.3% as of Wednesday afternoon. However, the company’s shares are still up 162.5% year-to-date.

Today, SOUN stock has around 20 million shares traded. This is still below the average daily trading volume of around 27 million shares.
