AMC series coming to Netflix in August, including Daryl Dixon and Fear the Walking Dead

AMC Network has announced a new deal with Netflix that will expand the streamer’s catalog with several popular series. The agreement includes several Walking dead Spinoffs and other popular titles from the network.

On August 19, thirteen series from AMC’s long list of original series will be available to stream on Netflix. The streamer currently offers all 11 seasons of The walking dead, A contract that expires in 2027 but could be extended at any time.

Fear the walking dead is the first spin-off of the main series, which paved the way for several more. This series first aired on AMC in 2015 and ended in 2023. Fear TWD was also the pioneer in the inclusion of crossover characters from The Walking Dead. The series aired for eight seasons, all included in AMC’s deal with Netflix.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 1 is also included in the Netflix deal. This series is the fifth spin-off that focuses on the expanded story of the title character portrayed by Norman Reedus. Daryl was introduced in Season 1 of the flagship series and the new spin-off continues his story in France.

In 2025 Dead City And Those who live is added to Netflix. Dead City, The first direct spin-off of TWD focuses on Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) as they traverse the dangerous streets of the former island of Manhattan. Those who live is the highly anticipated series “Rick and Michonne,” which sees Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira return to TWDU and reunites the two characters who were separated for years.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has been renewed for several seasons, the second of which will premiere on September 29th on AMC and AMC+.

The Walking Dead: Dead City has been renewed for a second season, which recently wrapped filming. The new season is expected to be released in 2025.
