“The Redundant” is a new action-adventure game for the PC

Developer 7Gizmo has announced a new action-adventure title called “The Redundant,” which will be released for PC via Steam.

The main protagonist CF5 (“a cute little robot”) is left behind in a mysterious facility by the developer because he is redundant. The trailer and more information can be found below:

When a nasty virus begins turning his fellow robots into rusty, angry menaces, CF5 knows what he has to do. As the tiny robot fights for his life, the darkness at the heart of the virus is revealed.

As CF5, you’ll explore the facility while fending off hordes of killer bots using an innovative mix of CPU upgrades, an energy siphon, and bombs. Or, if you’re more Wall-E than Terminator, embrace pacifism by utilizing The Redundant’s stealth options and sneak undetected through the game’s ominous factory setting.

The Redundant is an action-adventure game set in the year 2073. Sneak or fight your way through the facility, uncover its secrets, and isolate each section from the network – before it’s too late!

“We wanted to create a game that combines exciting action with a heartfelt story,” says the team at 7Gizmo. “CF5 may be a little dated, but it’s full of surprises and its determination to save the day is truly inspiring.”
