The Destiny 2 Aberrant Action Sidearm is a spicy new weapon for Echoes Act 2, with a particularly hot God Roll to grab. As the first Solar-damage Rocket Frame Sidearm, Aberrant Action gets access to a couple of really useful perks that pair well with Solar and Prismatic subclasses, so it’s worth hunting this weapon down in all Echoes activities in Destiny 2. Divergent Action: God Role in Destiny 2
Since there are a few options for supporting perks to boost Aberrant Action’s stats, there’s really only one golden combination of perks to aim for. Here’s the Aberrant Action God Roll I recommend:
- Barrel: Intelligent drift control or Quick Start
- Magazine: High-velocity projectiles
- Advantage 1: Healing Clip
- Advantage 2: Glowing
- Masterpiece: speed or Explosion radius
- The change: Choose BackupMag
The stars of the show here are Heal Clip and Incandescent. Heal Clip grants you Cure x2 and Cure x1 for nearby people when you reload after a kill, which is a nice bonus to help you survive in hectic PvE situations. Incandescent is just an all-around great perk that deals decent burns and damage over time to enemies, which really boosts the effectiveness of this rocket-powered pistol. Be sure to use it in any Solar or even Prismatic builds where you can benefit from those Solar keywords.
How to get abnormal actions in Destiny 2
Aberant Action is one of the Episodic Echoes weapons, meaning you can get it from any Echoes weapon reward source in Destiny 2. These include:
- Reward chests at the end of the Breach Executable and Echoes battlefields
- Rewards for submitting Radiolite samples either in HELM or at the end of activities
- Captain’s Log Weekly Trader Challenge by Failsafe in HELM
- Failsafes Echo Engram Focusing – You must complete the quest “Specimen ID: NES004” to unlock the Act 2 “Engram Focusing” upgrade!
Additionally, there’s a chance this will give you a deviant action with Deepsight Resonance, which you can extract to gain pattern advancements, eventually allowing you to create a deviant action with the perfect roll described above.
