Previous Prime Day sales have been particularly heavy on deals on Xbox consoles. But this year, the retail giant is virtually non-existent with deals on the Xbox Series S. Thankfully, other big-name retailers have filled the gap, most notably Dell, which is currently running a promotional gift card deal.
While the consoles themselves haven’t been discounted, Dell is offering gift cards to redeem on-site when you buy a current-gen Xbox console. The 1TB Xbox Series S ($349.99 at Dell) gets you a $50 Dell Promo eGift Card emailed to you upon purchase. If you buy an Xbox Series X ($499.99 at Dell), you’ll get a $75 gift card. Finally, the standard 512GB Xbox Series S ($299.99 at Dell) is also part of the promotion, but here you only get a $25 gift card. Still better than nothing.
Amazon Prime Day had few console deals, with only a brief $30 discount on the 1TB Xbox Series S for about half a day. We’re not sure if that will change for the rest of the sales event, but these Dell deals are certainly the next best thing.

Microsoft is apparently hesitant to put its consoles on sale this Prime Day, which is getting a bit old considering the new console revisions that are coming. As far as Amazon Prime Day Xbox Series X deals specifically for consoles go, though, these are the best we’ve seen all week, and it’s likely to stay that way when the sales event comes to a close after today.
