Taylor Swift reveals next single from “The Tortured Poets Department”

Taylor Nation’s official account made the announcement on Instagram on Tuesday, adding that the single and new album cover will be available on all streaming platforms.

Taylor Swift announced that the next single from The Tortured Poets Department will be “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

“We’re so bummed we pretend everyday is #ICanDoItWithABrokenHearts birthday!” Taylor Nation’s official account wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, referring to the lyrics of the bubbly track. “But today is special because Taylor is declaring it the next single from #TSTTPD! Lights, camera, bitch, listen to the sweet new cover on all streaming platforms.”

Swift’s new cover features a still from one of her performances on the Eras tour, showing her in a shimmering top and metallic blazer, surrounded by showgirl feathers. The “synth-disco tribute to Vince Clarke,” as Rolling Stones Rob Sheffield mentions it in his album review, it reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 on May 4th and was on the charts for 12 weeks.

The track, co-produced by Jack Antonoff, was also the song Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce used to make his stage debut on the Eras tour.
