COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – In today’s Look at Local Living, the City of Columbia is partnering with Sistercare for a toiletries drive.

Sistercare helps victims of domestic violence.

They are looking for donations such as facial tissues, deodorant and liquid hand soap.

You can drop off the items at several locations in the city from now until October 5th.

The free concert series “Five After Five” returns to Five Points this Saturday.

The series includes four themed evenings from now until October with live music from local and regional musicians, including jazz and soul artists as well as beach bands and rock’n’roll.

Food and drink trucks will be available at each of the four concerts from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The American Pickleball Tour returns to Columbia this weekend.

The tournament is open to all skill levels and a portion of the proceeds goes to a local nonprofit organization.

It takes place Friday through Sunday at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

The Richland Library Friends and Foundation will be hosting their summer book sale later this month.

You can browse a selection of 30,000 used items, including books, CDs and DVDs.

Paperback prices start at $1, and hardcover prices start at $2.

Public book sales begin at 10 a.m. on July 27 at the Richland Library Operations Center.
