Michael J. Fox celebrates a life full of love with his wife of three decades, Tracy Pollan.

The actor-writer couple have shared countless sweet moments together over the course of their decades-long romance, including a recent tribute to his 64th birthday. On their 36th anniversary, the actor penned a heartwarming message for his wife on Instagram: “Here’s to a lifetime of love with the love of your life. Happy anniversary, T. Forever ♥️”

“I just finished the episode of Family ties at the train station. So beautiful that your love for each other remains unwavering and everlasting. Happy anniversary!!! 🙏❤️,” one user wrote under Fox’s Instagram memory with Pollan.

The duo played a couple on screen in Family ties in 1985, although their relationship remained platonic as they dated other people. Her casting in Bright lights, big city invited a second chance at romance. Fox and Pollan made their red carpet debut on September 20, 1987 at the 39th Emmy Awards.

Three months later Back to the Future Alum proposed to Pollan on December 26, 1987.

Fox and Pollan celebrated a summer wedding on July 16, 1988, in Woodstock, Vermont, but not without paparazzi and heavy security. The following May, the couple had their first child, son Sam Michael. Three more children followed: twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler, and daughter Esme.

Fox and Pollan have often praised each other over the years. Teen Wolf The actor has often spoken about how his wife managed his battle with Parkinson’s disease.
