Plot twist: National anthem singer Ingrid Andress was actually drunk

After performing the national anthem at the Home Run Derby that sounded like a cross between Roseanne Barr and a desperate cat, singer Ingrid Andress tweeted that she had been drunk and was now going to rehab:

Hey, this woman deserves credit for her honesty.”I won’t fool you,” she says, then tells the honest truth. Many people wondered if she was drunk on Monday night, and yes, she was. Straight from the source. Makes you wonder what her team was doing before the game. How could they let her sing in front of the nation completely drunk? Was anyone at MLB even half-listening?

But no big deal. It happens. We’ve all been drunk in front of a microphone before, and if not, I recommend karaoke. But seriously, we’re hoping for a story about Ingrid Andress rehabilitating herself. She gets through rehab, comes out before the 59th Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Buffalo Bills and belts out a damn awesome anthem. Then all is right with the world.
