Adele is preparing for her concerts in Munich in August, which will take place in a individually built stadium with a giant screen. But she says fans shouldn’t expect a new album after these shows and the end of her Las Vegas residency.

Adele’s latest album, 30was published in 2021. In an interview with The German ZDF Before the Munich shows, she said: “I have no plans for new music at all. After that, I want to take a big break and I think I want to do other creative things for a short while.”

The star also predicted that the shows in Germany could leave her emotionally exhausted, just like her shows in Las Vegas. “I’m very sensitive and my tank is pretty empty when it comes to things like that,” she says of her live shows. “In Vegas, even though the audience is very small, it’s a really big emotional exchange; live, I let you share in my life.”

“I’m sure I’ll feel that way more every night after the shows in Munich. But it’s a positive thing. It’s just such an exchange of energy.”

Adele also said during the interview, “I miss everything about the time before I was famous… I don’t like being famous. I love that I can make music whenever I want and that people are receptive to it and like it, because that’s pretty unimaginable… but the fame side of it, I absolutely hate it.”

The Munich shows will take place from August 2nd to 31st. Adele’s performance in Las Vegas is now scheduled to end in November.
