Montgomery County Fire and Emergency Services responded to the 14800 block of Braemar Crescent Way in Gaithersburg/Darnestown at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 15, for a home struck by lightning.
According to Pete Piringer, chief spokesman for the MCFRS, around 60 firefighters responded to the scene. Four adults had to evacuate their homes after the building was deemed unsafe. No injuries were reported.
