DALLAS – Kirby Smart’s focus on football can be expressed in many ways.

Like last year, when the Georgia football coach said before a game that he wanted to inspire his players with the word wrecking ball, and someone mentioned Miley Cyrus’ song of the same name.

“I don’t know who Miley Cyrus is,” Smart said at the time. “What does she have to do with a wrecking ball?”

Smart certainly knows a little more about Taylor Swift, who has transcended music to become a global superstar who shows up at NFL games cheering on her boyfriend Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Smart’s wife Mary Beth and their 16-year-old twins Weston and Julia traveled to Amsterdam earlier this month to see Swift in concert.

Kirby was unable to come because he and his youngest son Andrew were in Cooperstown, NY for a few days for a baseball tournament.

“She’s a huge Taylor Swift fan and took my twins there and said, ‘If you’re going to travel all over the world to play baseball, I’m going to go to Amsterdam and enjoy Taylor Swift,'” Smart said Tuesday at SEC Media Days at the Omni Dallas. “She’s a huge fan.”

Former Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett, in particular, said he likes to listen to Colbie Caillat’s “Bubbly” before games.

So, Carson Beck, what do you like to listen to on game day?

“I love Rod Wave,” Georgia’s starting quarterback said of the rapper on Tuesday. “Rod Wave is definitely my thing.”

Beck said his sister Kylie is a Swiftie.

“She’s the biggest Taylor Swift fan ever,” Beck said. “My sister is a Swiftie. Am I? Not so much. I don’t really listen to Taylor Swift, but I appreciate her. Obviously she’s one of the most talented artists and one of the biggest artists in the whole world. Of course I’m a fan.”
