She looks like Taylor Swift. And the crowds in New Hampshire love it.

If you weren’t able to score tickets to a Taylor Swift concert this summer, you might want to stop by Canobie Lake Park in Salem. Three times a day, nearly every day this summer, park guests can take part in the Eras Tour—the New Hampshire version.

The theme park staged a 26-minute tribute show inspired by the pop star that has gone viral on social media, with clips of the performance garnering millions of views on platforms like TikTok.

The concert takes place in a wooden amphitheater, not a football stadium, but the elaborately replicated costumes, Las Vegas-trained backup dancers and enthusiastic audience can make it seem as if Swift made a stopover in Salem.

The focus is on June Baker, who performs as Swift. Over the course of the show, she goes through several eras of Swift’s discography and changes costumes three times. (Four times if you count the Fearless inspired mini dress that she wears to meet fans after the show.)

June Baker and background dancers imitate Taylor Swift’s Call era. Baker sewed this costume himself.

Baker bears a striking resemblance to the pop star, changing only a few things to fit the role.

“I wear blue contact lenses. I need contact lenses to be able to see, so I only buy blue ones when I perform,” she said in an interview after one of her last performances. “On my days off, I don’t wear them.”

Baker is new to the role. She was discovered on social media, where she was often told she looked like Swift. That put her in touch with a Las Vegas-based entertainment company that puts on shows at Canobie.

“I’ve only been taking singing lessons for three or four months to prepare for the show,” she said. “I’ve been working intensively with a singing coach and practicing a lot on my own at home on the keyboard.”

With the pavilion full on Sunday morning, all their hard work seems to have paid off.

Baker said fans have traveled from as far away as Florida, Nebraska and Colorado to see them perform, but the flight, accommodations and Canobie’s ticket price were probably cheaper than a ticket to the real Eras tour.
