Infinity Song, Jay-Z’s black soft rock band, prays for a safe 2024 (video)

If you’re tired of hearing the same old thing, Infinity Song is an excellent option to check out. The black soft rock band consists of siblings Abraham, Angel, Israel, and Momo Boyd. The group is signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and was discovered a few years ago while singing on the streets of New York City.

The Boyd family is originally from Detroit. The quartet is not yet the complete Boyd family, as the other siblings – Victory, Harmony, Michael, John and Liberty – are each solo artists with Peace Industry Music Group. Victory, who was originally part of Infinity Song, is still signed to Roc Nation as a solo artist.

Weeks after the album’s release Metamorphosis completedInfinity Song spoke with Roll out about their journey and left a prayer.

How was 2024 for all of you?

Angel: You know when people say last year was my last year of being broke? Well, that was 2023, so 2024 was great.

Abraham: 2024 is a dream come true. We did a world tour, this month we’re doing a tour of the United States and then we’re doing another world tour. We’re at the BET Awards. We’ve never been here before, so we’re super excited and thank God for everything.

How has “Hater’s Anthem” changed your life?

Israel: The thing about it was that it was kind of a slow burn, no pun intended on another one of our songs, it built up and took some time to build us up. It started the process of changing our lives and we are so grateful for everything that song did for us.

Angel: It was our way of introducing ourselves to the world as a soft rock band. It was really catchy and really fun. I think it really helped us make a name for ourselves.

One of the most popular questions on the internet: Momo, what is your hair care routine?

Mummy: Oh, wow! You tried to solve the mystery.

Well, I can’t give away the secrets for free. Maybe I need to come out with a hair care line or something. Go on my Beyoncé, go on my Cécred.

I’m always open, but not right now.

Fenty hair?

Mummy: That would be nice.

Rihanna is just two calls away, but I wanted to ask about Metamorphosis completedWhat is the difference between this album and metamorphosis?

Israel: We repackaged the old project with six new songs.

It shows in one package our entire metamorphosis, journey and evolution as artists over the last few years. It’s really beautiful and I think everyone who hears it can relate to what we were talking about.

Abraham: Our album Metamorphosis completed is about the journey of several journeys in one project. It is about self-realization, about reviving yourself or being revived, from lows, hardships and reaching the peak.

It is also about the pursuit of progress and greatness.

Maybe you don’t hear that story in the music, but that’s exactly what we were thinking about when we wrote the music. It’s our personal and collective pursuit of greatness. We hope people hear that, feel that, and be inspired by it.

Who can pray us out today?

Angel: Dear Lord, thank you for this day. Thank you for this moment. Thank you for the BET Awards. Thank you for Rashad.

Lord, we celebrate this moment, celebrate this interview, celebrate the night ahead. We ask for your presence and thank you in Jesus’ name, Amen.
