Austin Green secures pole position for the first time in the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series with his track record in Mid-Ohio

Nathan Herne will start from the front row at the first start of the 2024 Trans Am Series

LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 21, 2024) – Practice and qualifying have concluded for the Trans Am Series race presented by Pirelli’s CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Austin Green set a new track record in the No. 89 3-Dimensional Services Group Ford Mustang, posting a lap time of 1:23.644 in his first outing behind the wheel of a TA2 car since the season opener at Sebring International Raceway. Two-time Australian TA2 champion Nathan Herne will take the green flag alongside Green on the front row for his first start of the 2024 season.

“It’s my first race in a Trans-Am car since Sebring, so I’m really excited to be back,” said Green. “Hats off to the whole 3-Dimensional Services Group and Peterson Racing crew. They brought a really fast 3-Dimensional Services Group Ford Mustang today. We were fast in practice and built on that. Then we went out, did a lap and got first in qualifying. I’m looking forward to starting at the front for the first time in the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series tomorrow.”

The race will take place tomorrow at 12:40pm ET. It will be broadcast LIVE on MAVTV and can also be streamed live here. The CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series race recap will air on MAVTV on Thursday, June 27th at 8pm ET.
