Harlan Coben gives exciting update on the new Netflix series

Harlan Coben is always coming up with new shows and the popular author has just released an update on upcoming series Caught (Atrapados).

The Netflix production is based on another of his novels and was filmed in Buenos Aires and Bariloche – and Coben has now confirmed that the film will be released on the streaming service next year.

Coben shared the update with his fans on X/Twitter, addressing Argentina and “everyone else” and saying he was “thrilled” to share the news.

The main role in the series is played by Soledad Villamil (The secret in her eyes) as the main character Ema Garay and Alberto Ammann (Narcos) and Juan Minujin.

Matías Recalt, who previously starred in one of Netflix’s most watched films, Society of Snowis also displayed.

The table of contents for Caught/Atrapados states: “Reporter Ema Garay is gaining notoriety in digital journalism by catching criminals who tend to evade justice in the city of Bariloche, in the Argentine province of Patagonia.

“Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Leo Mercer, a social worker and speaker who becomes the prime suspect in her investigation into the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl. As Ema tries to find out the truth, she must face herself.”

This production is another result of the ongoing creative partnership between the bestselling author and streaming giant Netflix.

Coben’s series Miss youin which Richard Armitage and James Nesbitt will again play the leading roles, is also in preparation – with Deceive me onceArmitage suspects another release in January (although this has not yet been officially announced).

Filming has already given a taste of the exciting drama, with a first look at Top boy Ashley Walters stars in the lead role, alongside co-star Rosalind Eleazar, who will lead the cast as Detective Kat Donovan.

EastEnders‘ Jessica Plummer, Lenny Henry (Lord of the rings: The Rings of Power), Steve Pemberton (Inside No.9) and Paul Kaye (Sexy Beast) have also joined the cast.

Trapped (Atrapados) And Miss you are coming to Netflix.
