The book “Terrififier 2” will be released this October

Variety has news on the novel “Terrifier 2,” which is being published by Titan Books, Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting. Tim Waggoner, who wrote the novelization of “Halloween Kills,” is writing the book “Terrifier 2,” which will be released on October 29, 2024. Here’s the official synopsis:

IIn this gruesome novelization of the hit horror film, nightmarish clown Art returns from the dead to continue his murderous and insane rampage through the sleepy town of Miles County, one year after they survived the events of “Terrifier.” Little do they know that the nightmare is about to begin again.

Resurrected by a sinister entity, Art is back with an appetite for murder and mayhem – targeting recently grieving teenager Sienna and her younger brother Jonathan. The streets will soon be awash in blood and Sienna must somehow survive this gruesome Halloween night and figure out how to defeat a brutal and relentless killing machine from her nightmares.

Once he sets his sights on you, Art is unstoppable…

Although they don’t seem as common today, there were plenty of novelizations of movies when I was growing up, and I read many of them. I always liked how they delved deeper into the story and gave us insights into the characters that the movies themselves couldn’t give us. With that in mind, I’m very excited to see how the Terrifier 2 novelization further expands on the events of the movie.

“Terrifier 3” is scheduled to hit theaters on October 11, 2024.
