Christian artist from Kentucky Les N. Downs releases her latest single “Trust in you, Lord”, from their debut album.
Downs has been writing and performing Christian music for many years with a unique sound that blends folk and soul. Finding her niche in Christian music hasn’t been easy, but she’s finding it by staying true to her style, even when it’s different from what others are releasing. The song was co-written with Jordan Evans, a member of the Bowling Green group 1Church Movement.
The song is inspired by the words in Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. Submit everything to him, and he will direct your paths.
This is a time when we step forward in faith, trusting the Lord with every decision we make. Obedience is not something that comes naturally, but a close relationship with Jesus makes it possible.
