This work comes from a supposed four-time Grammy nominee, which just makes us wonder if we mere mortals could get Grammy recognition if we wanted to.

Rising American country star Ingrid Andress took the microphone and sang her rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner before the MLB Home Run Derby on Monday night in Arlington, Texas, which is part of the All-Star Game festivities.

Let’s just say she wasn’t exactly a hit.

“4-time Grammy nominee. 0-time winner and we all know why,” said one predictably ruthless social media commenter on X.

“Probably the worst thing we’ve ever heard,” added another.
