Sanders and Bolden win gold in the final week of the 2024 WSOP

There are now 90 bracelet events planned for the 2024 season. World Series of Poker, and many more events will conclude in the next few days, including the record-breaking Main Event. So far, the completed events have paid out more than $307.2 million. Below is a look at the results of the last two tournaments where the champions were crowned.

Event #90 – $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Six-Max

Joseph Sanders defeated a field of 1,304 entrants in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha event to win his first bracelet and $269,530.

This was the Las Vegas resident’s biggest tournament win to date, surpassing the $50,400 he earned for a fifth-place finish in a $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event in 2021. This is the US Poker Open. After this big win in the series, Sanders now has $893,000 in tournament winnings.

Several celebrities achieved high placings at this event, including bracelet winner Pedro Neves (21st), bracelet winner Nenad Medic (20th), bracelet winner Kyle Bowker (14th) and World Poker Tour Champion and bracelet winner Mike Leah (5th).

Event #91 – $3,000 HORSE

Gary BoldenThe $3,000 HORSE event attracted 357 entrants, creating a prize pool of $953,190. The top 54 finishers received a share of the pot, with the largest portion going to eventual champion Gary Bolden.

The Las Vegas-based player overcame a tough final table to secure his first bracelet and career-high earnings of $205,321. Bolden’s career winnings now total over $1.6 million.

Among the many big names who cashed at the event were three-time bracelet winner Barry Greenstein (18th), two-time bracelet winner Arash Ghaneian (17th), six-time bracelet winner Jeremy Ausmsus (7th), WPT Champion and three-time bracelet winner David ‘ODB‘ Baker (6th), two-time bracelet winner Luis Velador (5th) and two-time bracelet winner John Racener (2nd).

This was Ausmus’ seventh final table of the series, tying the record set by Phil Hellmuth in 2021. Ausmus now has 14 final tables in 2024, winning one title. His 4,895 Card player The Player of the Year points qualify for eighth place in Global Poker’s 2024 rankings.
